Hey, guys. Today we have a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500, and we're going to a test fit on the Yakima Off-grid Rooftop Cargo Basket. Now, the cargo basket mounts to the roof rack of your Sierra. It allows you to get any type of gear, whether it's cargo, luggage, sports and recreational gear, out of your truck, out of your bed and on top of your roof.Now, it's kind of got this nice rugged look to it that, in my opinion, adds to the looks of our Sierra right here. It's an open basket design, so if you have any materials that are sensitive to the elements, whether you got something that's going to be sensitive to water or even the sun, you may want to consider getting an enclosed cargo box. We have plenty of those here at etrailer. more

Curt Roof Basket Review - 2016 GMC Yukon- Video
Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon we're doing a test fit of the Curt roof-mounted cargo basket. That part number is C18115. This is 41 1/2 inches long by 37 inches wide by four inches deep and has 150 pound weight capacity. Now keep in mind that you do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual before, making sure that your vehicle can withstand that much weight. Now we already have three of our four mounts secured down. We've got our spacer for the back mount. more

Rhino Rack Roof Basket Review - 2016 GMC Yukon- Video
Today, on our 2016 GMC Yukon, we're going a test of the Rhino Rack Roof-mounted cargo basket. That part number is RMCV. This is 47 inches long by 35 inches wide and has a 155 pound weight capacity. We already have three of our four mounts secured in place. We are going to show you our last one here. We already have our spacer brackets in between. In between our cross bar and the bars of our carrier, we have this plastic bracket. more

Thule Roof Basket Review - 2016 GMC Yukon- Video
Today on our 2016 GMC Yukon we're doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon XT roof-mounted cargo basket. That part number is TH859XT. Now this is 49 inches long by 40 inches wide by six inches deep and has a 150 pound weight capacity. We already have three of our four mounts secured down. We've got all of our brackets in place. To adjust our brackets we used our included tool, and we loosened up the two bolts on the inside there. more

Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 GMC Acadia- Video
Today on our 2016 GMC Arcadia, we're test fitting the Thule Canyon Roof Cargo Basket. The cargo basket has the dimensions of 49 by 40 by 6 and it has a capacity to hold up to 150 pounds. Part number for that is TH859. Now, as you can see, we do have three of our plates already down, those are already secure. We're going to go ahead and show you how to secure this back part because it's just the same way. Go ahead and step up in here. more

SportRack Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2016 GMC Acadia- Video
Today on our 2016 GMC Acadia, we're test fitting the SportRack Vista roof-mounted cargo basket. This cargo basket is 44 inches long by 39-1/8 inches wide, and I have the capacity to hold up to 110 pounds. The part number for that is SR9035. Now we do already have 3 of our feet down and secured. We're going to show you how we do this back drivers-side one, because they all go in the same way when they secure down. The first thing we're going to do is take our metal plate and place it on there, and then we're going to take our U-bolt there and put that through and hold onto it while we tighten down our thumb screws. I'm just going to tighten mine down until they're just loose enough that it sits on there. more

Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 GMC Yukon XL- Video
Today on our 2015 GMC Yukon XL, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyo roof mounted cargo basket. This basket is going to be of steel construction. It's going to be 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, 6 inches deep and have a 150 pound weight capacity. It does also have the option of an extension to make it longer. That extension as well as the rack is going to be part number TH859-8591. This part by itself is going to be TH859. more

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2012 GMC Terrain- Video
Today on our 2012 GMC Terrain, we'll be test fitting the Thule Moab Roof Top Cargo Carrier, part number TH690. With our cargo basket pre-assembled, we're ready to go ahead and mount it to the vehicle. We'll set the cargo basket on top of the load bars. We'll need to center the basket with our vehicle. We can then tighten it down using the included hardware with the basket. After securing our hardware, we'll go ahead and install the hardware covers. more

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2012 GMC Yukon- Video
Alright today on this 2012 GMC Yukon, were going to do a test fit of part number TH690 from Thule, this is their Moab Roof Top Cargo Carrier. It does come with a custom fairing that reduces wind resistance and also makes for a quieter ride. It includes two integrated adjustable Thule load bars that can be used for bikes, skis, or water sport carriers also. The amount of hardware is designed for quick on and quick off installation to the vehicle. In this case we will be using the 28 centers, so lets go ahead and install on the vehicle, and get a good idea how it looks. You will also need an extra set of hands to help you install on top of the factory roof rack. more
